#25 of the 30×30 Challenge
I’ve seen this double denim trend going around, and here I am trying it out. I think the floral belt helped break it up a bit and add some interest. This was my Man of Steel, date night outfit. I am always cold in movie theaters, and I need to be comfortable if I’m going to sit there for 2+ hours. This was the perfect movie outfit, to say the least.
I will give Man of Steel a 8.5/10. It was really good, just really long. And my body hurt from all of the fights, lol.

There are many-many times during this challenge that I’ve wanted to cheat. But I haven’t. Until now. Those sandals… None of the other shoes went with this outfit except for the 4″ heels, and that wasn’t happening on a Saturday to run errands. This skirt and top is all comfy and cozy, the perfect Saturday outfit. I love stretchy skirts!

#23 of the 30×30 Challenge
For the past few weeks, maybe even a month, I’ve had burger cravings. Major burger cravings. Growing up our family would grill out at least once a week, mostly on Sunday afternoons. Whether it was burgers and hotdogs with all the toppings or steak, potatoes and corn on the cob. We did it up big. I am a huge grilling-out fan, and so is Victor. Unfortunately, the 13 months we’ve been married, none of our apartments/living arrangements have allowed for us to have a grill. Can you say dumb?? McDonalds and Burger King just don’t do the trick.
This weekend, Victor looked up Fudruckers. We headed that way, only to not find it. Google maps and GPS’s don’t have much luck with directions in Puerto Rico. We ended up at Chili’s. I still ordered a burger, but fter it being completely raw the first time around and overly salted the second time…my burger craving was squashed.
All this to say, I wore this outfit to eat a burger….and it didn’t go so well! I will always be a meat-a-tarian, though.
Sometimes all you need is a bit of inspiration from somewhere…anywhere before you take a look at your closet! This is when I become super-duper thankful for Pinterest & blogs. Daily doses of inspiration for me!

#22 of the 30×30 Challenge
As I wind this challenge down, I get more inspired. I know this outfit isn’t rocket science, but I never would have put the top and skirt together and I never would have tossed a belt into the mix. So, once again, bravo to whoever came up with the brilliant 30×30. I will be forever grateful.
I have 2 more weeks before I head to the states for Allison’s wedding and then to visit my family for a few weeks after that. Until then, I’m soaking up the sun by the pool, sleeping in, and craving smoothies, any flavor…so this weekend I will be collecting fruits galore! What are your favorite smoothie flavors and/or recipes??
