Wedding: When we said we do

I get giddy when I think about that day, May 18, 2012. I enjoyed every single moment of our wedding. I had done all of the ceremony/reception planning on-line, searching Florida destination weddings. Through these searches we decided on the Tampa Bay area, more specifically St. Petersburg/Treasure Island Beach. We found a company (Weddings on a Whim) to take care of the ceremony: raking the beach, setting up/taking down chairs, arch, & speaker system…the whole nine-yards. They were fantastic to work with and had extremely decent prices. They referred me to our reception venue, the Historical Paddleboat Cruise . I fell in love with this boat, it was perfect. The best part was that everything was included, dinner, band, chairs, linens, cake cutting, no rental fee…etc. We paid a fee per person, the end. That is completely unheard of in the wedding industry these days. The other great part of a cruise reception is the timing. When you return to the dock, the party is over…our wedding & reception went from 4-10:30, and we were checking into our hotel @ 11. Perfecto. Every brides wishes for every detail to be perfect, and I can honestly say there was only 1 thing I would change. The cake. It was beautiful on the outside, but it was slightly (okay, majorly) overcooked. Some people say it’s the most important part of your day, I pretend it wasn’t. Too many good memories to let that darn cake get in the way & take over.

Here are some pictures to highlight my favorite day ever.

And we’re living happily ever after…
