Double Denim Duo

Top: JCPenney | Jeans: aerie | Belt: Ann Taylor | Shoes: JCrew Outlet | Earrings: Target

I’ve seen this double denim trend going around, and here I am trying it out. I think the floral belt helped break it up a bit and add some interest. This was my Man of Steel, date night outfit. I am always cold in movie theaters, and I need to be comfortable if I’m going to sit there for 2+ hours. This was the perfect movie outfit, to say the least.

I will give Man of Steel a 8.5/10. It was really good, just really long. And my body hurt from all of the fights, lol.

RAIN WOULDN’T GO AWAY

#16 of the 30×30 Challenge

As I mentioned yesterday, I swapped out and added this top to my mix. I love its springy colors…oh the endless possibilities.

Now, let’s talk about the rain. Victor and I were checking out an apartment. On our way back to the car, the rain came. Like crazy! We were completely drenched when we reached our parking spot. I’m surprised these pictures don’t look worse. Although the pants do look quite drenched. Memories!

Olive + Bubblegum

An unlikely pair. I know. That’s what I thought, until I made this happen. I walked out of the bedroom, and the husband liked it. He approved! Usually, he’s very-very traditional when it comes to style/fashion. If it doesn’t “match,” then it’s a no. Nothing about this outfit “matches,” yet it works. Thanks to all of my new blog-world friends for inspiring me to think outside the box!
